This week something dawned on me in regards to plans, how we make them and how we feel great when plans go off without any set backs. A good majority of people may feel like when they make plans the plans get railroaded by distractions, pressures or even fears. I wondered how do we avoid plan setbacks or is the lesson to learn to go with the flow & be flexible? How do you win every attempt at something new? Is that even possible? One truth is that most plans teach and at times force us to compare how different groups and individuals devise various plans.

Team sports are one of most blatant expressions of this kind of comparison event. All of the players may have equal experiences, practice and great natural skills but one thing we know about sports is one team loses every game. As a collective we have been advised to live by the statement that everyone is truly a winner if they participate while also being influenced to watch highly practiced players battle it out daily. If all players have different strength levels and by connecting with them you are A. Seeing a strength you may not posses, B. Seeing skills you may possess but have yet to master, C. Viewing these skills in action, the interaction could possibly be helping to awaken that skill inside of you! And maybe itβs giving you an opportunity to admire another great skill set up close and is that not a win in itself? I sometimes feel like If we all showed up and leave with the same joy, enthusiasm, health and maybe even leave with a little more wisdom, experience, connections & money even if we lose we can still be winners!
